About Lion of Antwerp Font

This font is based on Gerard Leeu’s output. He was a printer based in Gouda and then Antwerp where he met his fate in 1492 in an altercation with one of his staff. This font contains both TTF and OTF formats in regular and bold weights with a full character map for the nearly 600 defined characters.
Why the Lion of Antwerp? In a nod to Gerard’s surname.
